The Wren Design made this using a single sheet of unused, foiled, butter paper which is collected from a local packaging factory. It is then fused to a special cotton to make it strong enough to stitch and each product is handmade by our team of very skilled seamstresses. This paper starts off being incredibly bright but wears with time into the most beautiful crackled and matt surface. It is definitely wabi-sabi and we love it!

Each side folds over to give you a magic magnetic double close system (you can fold the cover left-to-right, or right-to-left). This is a great product for those left-handers or ambidextrous souls!
